"Bringing It Back - Teen Culture in the 50s and 60s"

Step back in time with us from June 18th to Aug 30th at the Waseca County Historical Society's latest exhibit!

Discover the vibrant world of poodle skirts, jukeboxes, Carl's Hamburger Shop, and rock 'n' roll! From the birth of teenage culture to the rise of iconic fashion and music, this exhibit is a nostalgic journey through two of the most transformative decades in American history during the rise of teen culture.

What You'll See:

  • Authentic 50s and 60s memorabilia from Waseca County

  • A prom photo booth - take a photo of you and your family/friends with an authentic prom style backdrop!

  • An interactive map of the local lover's lanes during that time period - add a tack to a location you knew of, too!
